2. What data we process and why
a) Visiting our website. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access, and pages visited. We need this data to deliver the website securely and to prevent misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
b) Service requests and contact. When you use our service request form or contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number, company, your message and any files you upload. We use it only to answer your request and to prepare offers or contracts. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use this data for newsletters or advertising. We contact you about our services only in connection with your request.
c) Job applications. When you apply through our Career page or by email, we process your application data: contact details, CV, certificates and other documents you send us. We use it only to assess your application. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for applications to our German branch, § 26 BDSG.
d) BLADE VIEW™ portal. Our customer portal at blade-view.com is a separate service with its own access terms.
3. Cookies
We use only cookies that are technically necessary for the website to work, plus our cookie consent tool, which remembers your choice. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can change your cookie settings at any time through the cookie banner.
4. Recipients
Your data is processed by our employees who need it for their work, and by these service providers acting on our behalf:
• Website hosting: Looka / Duda Inc. Data may be processed in the USA. Transfers outside the EEA are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Email and IT service providers, bound by data processing agreements.
We do not sell your data. We disclose it to authorities only where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep your data
• Service requests and correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request. If a contract follows, for as long as commercial and tax law requires, generally up to 10 years.
• Job applications: up to 6 months after the recruitment process ends, unless you agree to a longer period.
• Server log data: deleted after a short period, usually within 30 days, unless it is needed to investigate a security incident.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
• access your data
• have it rectified or erased
• restrict its processing
• data portability
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests
• withdraw any consent you gave, at any time, with effect for the future

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro. You may also complain to the authority in your country of residence. In Germany, for example, this is the data protection authority of your federal state.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
